These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ImageMint ("the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

The Service is a free, browser-based image optimization tool. It provides features including image compression, resizing, format conversion, metadata management, AI background removal, favicon generation, and color palette extraction.

• All features are free and available without registration
• All image processing is performed entirely in the browser; no image data is sent to any server
• There are no file size limits or batch processing restrictions

2. Acceptable Use

The following activities are prohibited when using the Service:

• Use for illegal purposes
• Processing images that infringe on others' copyrights, likeness rights, or privacy (processing occurs in your browser so we have no knowledge of it, but you remain responsible)
• Attempting to circumvent or disable the Service's security features
• Mass access via automated scripts or bots
• Disassembly, decompilation, or reverse engineering of the Service

3. Intellectual Property

Intellectual property rights for the Service's source code, design, logos, and content belong to us or our rightful licensors. Rights to images processed through the Service belong to the user.

4. Processing Results

• Rights to processed images belong to the user
• We do not store, view, or use processing results (all processing occurs in the browser)
• We do not guarantee the quality or fitness for a particular purpose of processing results

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption.

We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove features of the Service without prior notice. The Service may be temporarily interrupted for maintenance or other reasons.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for any disputes related to these Terms.

These Terms may be updated without notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
